Leaves

Wow. Driving home from college everyday I truly get to see one of the wonders of this Earth. The trees have now fully changed colors and although it is actually a representation of the end of their lives, it has a great lesson that we can learn. These leaves are at the end of the rope. They are dying with most already dead. What is most interesting about a leaf is the fashion that it dies. Blooming in the spring is a great adventure for the leaf. Bursting forth, finally, in full size and glory it becomes born. Summer is often full of trials and hardships. The silkworms munch and the Japanese beetles crunch, but the leaf remains true to its color and stature. Fall is quickly approaching and the leaf's life is drawing eerily close to its end. With death approaching what does the leaf do? Does the leaf wither away to nothing? Shroud itself in darkness? Disappear and die in solitude? No. Most certainly not. The leaf flourishes. It shows its true color and goes through a metamorphosis. The bright red, yellow, or orange come out shine through. Even the brown leaves are gorgeous in nature. Not just a brown to be forgotten. As a human, and as a man, I need to learn from the leaf. When death is approaching, I need to flourish and have my true colors shine forth. We cannot tell when death is approaching though. We cannot feel the moisture depleting from our veins like the leaves do; therefore, I have determined that I must ALWAYS show my true colors and shine brightly as if I were dying.

highways. cars. choices.

along the journey of life,

you must travel down a path.

sometimes the road is beautiful,

distracting, winding, or crowded.

there are stops, traffic and company.

now here the question lies:

when you come to the decision,

along the way, left or right.

which way will you choose?

and what outcome will you reap?

will your choice leave you with no outlet?

or will you find your home?

Intro

MakeLoveLife. Beginning as a hip and trendy sounding YouTube channel name, it soon began to infiltrate the life of Phil. He began thinking, "What does this MakeLoveLIfe mean?" Research, late nights, and many more vlogs later, MakeLoveLIfe became a part of Phil and he wanted to spread the Love to the world. Although only one person, the Internet is many. Friends and family have joined together to aid Phil along this endeavor.

But what is this lovely concept that I am talking about? Well through studying the bible and prayer, Phil has discovered that, above all else, the ability to Love is the greatest in the world. If we can learn to Love each other instead of Hate. If we can learn to Give instead of Take. If we can learn to Hug instead of Punch, then our World will be changed.

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. (1Corinthians 13:4-7)

Wow...that's a lot eh? Love is a process. We are not going to be the best at loving when we decide we want to get serious about love, but Love never gives up. Be encouraged. Be strengthened. Continue to fight for Love.

One last thing. "God is Love, and all who live in Love live in God, and God lives in them. And as we live in God, our Love grows more perfect." (1 John 4:16-17) God's Love is perfect and we're striving to Love people without Judgement and with an Unconditional Love. As humans, we have never felt a perfect Love from another human, but we can change that.
